One of the most notable features on the John Deere stand-on mowers is the Mulch on Demand (MOD) technology. Available on the 652R and 652R EFI models, the MOD deck increases operator productivity and versatility. With MOD, the operator has the ability to change between side discharging and mulching with the convenient dash-mounted switch. When engaged, the movable gate closes off the discharge chute, activating mulching. This is ideal when the operator is mowing around areas like flowerbeds and sidewalks, limiting the amount cleanup after mowing.
