Wright, John Deere Won't Extend Manufacturing Agreement

Wright Manufacturing, Inc. has announced it will not extend its current commercial mower design and manufacturing arrangement with Deere & Company beyond May 2016.

Wright Manufacturing, Inc. announced it will not extend its current commercial mower design and manufacturing arrangement with Deere & Company beyond May 2016. Wright said the agreement that began in August 2012 has allowed Wright to enhance its manufacturing and quality processes and enabled Deere to bring leading stand-on technology to market. Wright said it will continue to develop commercial mowers independently. Deere said it remains firmly committed to the professional landscape equipment business and will continue to develop its product line independently.
