The 259B3 is a high-performance, highly maneuverable addition to the Cat Compact Track Loader (CTL) range. The new Hystat Response Control System (HRCS) uses software that permits the loader's hydrostatic drive/steer system to be adjusted to one of three response rates-standard, intermediate or maximum-to determine how rapidly the machine accelerates/decelerates and how quickly it responds to steering commands.

A new laser-based AccuGrade grading system for Cat C-Series Skid-Steer Loaders, Multi-Terrain Loaders and Compact Track Loaders combines the capability of the Level Best Grading Box with the C-Series loader's integral electro/hydraulic controls to create an automated grading system capable of extreme accuracy. The new system establishes flat or single-slope grades to within more or less 1/4" without grade stakes or the expense of grade checkers and stake-setting surveyors.
