Barreto’s 712MT Micro Trencher features a wheel-drive propulsion system, utilizing a load-sensing hydraulic valve that adjusts the trenching wheel speed to the load on the digging chain. When the load on the digging chain increases, the sensing valve sends less oil to the wheel drive motor, and wheel speed will automatically slow down. When the load on the digging chain decreases, the sensing valve sends more oil to the wheel drive motor, and the wheel drive speed will automatically increase. Digs 12-18 inches deep.

Because of their large footprint, tracks are less invasive on the landscape. Cross-trenching is made simple, and by combining tracks with additional weight, the ability to keep the trench straight is greatly improved. The 2324TK features an ergonomic single-handed control, 23-hp engine and up to 48" trenching depth.
