Yamaha has entered the lawn and garden industry this season with its MXV-EFI Vertical V-Twin series of engines designed specifically for zero-turn mowers. Three models are being offered from 29 to 33 certified gross horsepower. Yamaha says the ground-up design of these engines results in a smooth, even cut with consistent speeds—even in difficult high-grass conditions.
