Landscape Design App Now Features Computer-Aided Design

Drafix Software recently made landscape computer-aided design (CAD) available in its Pro Landscape Companion app for Android and iPad. Pro Landscape Companion is the iPad and Android tablet design component for the desktop/laptop version of Pro Landscape. Features include:

• The capability to create a photo imaging design and price quote to sell the customer at the first meeting at the customer’s house with an iPad or Android tablet.
• The ability for users to measure and design the landscape site in a scaled drawing right on the tablet, then transfer the design right to the computer to do additional work.
• The flexibility to measure the property line, house or building, and pavers directly on the tablet, then import the plan directly into desktop software, or import an AutoCAD file, survey or plot plan, or even Google Earth image.
• Photo imaging with a library of over 14,000 images, night and holiday lighting, easy-to-use CAD for landscape design, complete customer proposals and 3D rendering with Pro Landscape.
• Free use of the Pro Landscape Companion for users of Pro Landscape.
