Dixie Sales Company—an independent, full-service, value-added distributor—will now do business as Servantage Dixie Sales.
CEO Harold Reiter said the name change does not indicate a change in ownership, but more accurately represents the comprehensive and innovative customer-support services the company provides its partners as well as its rapidly growing sales and expanding customer base and market areas it serves.
Established in 1914, Dixie Sales Company originally focused its sales and marketing efforts on the southeastern U.S., but has since successfully expanded throughout the U.S. and Canada in support of its key business partners.
While it will continue to use the established name “Dixie Sales” with Servantage, the company says the addition of Servantage better reflects its unique position as a trusted partner and reliable resource for manufacturers and national multiple-store retailers. “By delivering responsive and dependable service, our partners have a competitive advantage,” Reiter said. “In reality, (its) a service advantage, thus Servantage Dixie Sales.”
