DynaScape Software, the leading provider of technology solutions to the landscape industry, is the latest company to become an official reseller of the rendering plug-in to Google SketchUp, Shaderlight.

ArtVPS, developers of Shaderlight, has been working with DynaScape Software since the development of version 2.0 in 2011, which incorporated a number of DynaScape’s plant and tree models in the unique 'Replace Me' feature. This enables users to easily render detailed models without the associated slow down when using large amounts of geometry.

DynaScape is now selling Shaderlight Pro as part of its suite of design solutions for landscape professionals.  It is becoming an increasingly popular tool for landscape designers to add the final photorealistic touch to their 3D models for client presentations. The rendering software fits seamlessly with DynaScape’s Sketch3D product, which allows users to simply export their design to SketchUp format. Once inside SketchUp, users can render with Shaderlight as normal.

Len Hordyk, product manager-design solutions at DynaScape, said, “We pride ourselves on offering the very best software to help landscape designers improve the quality of their work, while making their lives as simple as possible. Shaderlight is a natural fit. We’ve been impressed with Shaderlight for a long time, and were delighted to contribute to the development of v2.0 last year. The combination of our Sketch3D product and Shaderlight is a powerful one that we’re sure will benefit many landscape designers around the world.”

Kate Marshall, marketing director at ArtVPS, added: “We’re very pleased to be announcing DynaScape as an official reseller of Shaderlight. Their knowledge and expertise of the landscape market makes them the ideal partner for Shaderlight and will enable many more landscape designers to create the perfect 3D visuals. We’re looking forward to reaching more landscape designers through this partnership, and to a long and successful relationship with the DynaScape team.”
