Father-Son Team Inducted Into U.S. Lawns Hall of Fame

The awards ceremony honored franchisees for their community contributions and business successes.

Orlando-based U.S. Lawns has inducted the father and son team of Hank and Bryan Smith of Myrtle Beach, SC, into the U.S. Lawns Hall of Fame.

U.S. Lawns held their Annual Conference August 2-4, 2012 at the historic Vinoy Hotel in St. Petersburg, FL.

The final event of the three-day conference was the Saturday night awards ceremony, when a multitude of deserving franchisees, from first-year to veteran, and their teams, are presented awards for their community contributions and their business successes.

The awards night celebration culminates with a franchisee(s) being inducted into the U.S. Lawns Hall of Fame. This was a special year. This year a father and son were invited to the stage to accept their place and join their peers.

"The Hall of Fame is the highest honor we bestow on a franchisee,” said Ken Hutcheson, president of U.S. Lawns. "These are not just highly successful businessmen. These are true leaders who are fully engaged in their business and who embrace the mission and vision of U.S. Lawns. The Hall of Fame is not just an award, it is a permanent position among a group of businessmen and women who are achieving or have achieved their life’s dream and are running a highly successful business, and are respected and embraced by their peers."
