PBI/Gordon Corporation has announced the availability of Q4Plus Herbicide in New York. Q4 Plus was recently registered with the State of New York Department of Pesticide Regulation. The registration allows Q4 Plus “for use in New York State by spot treatment only. Not for sale, distribution, or use in Nassau or Suffolk Counties in New York State.”
“There are many options for weed control, but with MSMA no longer available on residential turf, there is a need for a new and effective alternative to control both grassy and broadleaf weeds,” said Dave Loecke, product manager for PBI/Gordon. “While there are questions about future use of MSMA with golf courses and sod farms, commercial turf uses such as business grounds, hospitals and parks would benefit from Q4 Plus herbicide.
