'Beautiful Places' Photo Contest Winner Takes Home Exmark Mower

The recent winner of the ‘Beautiful Places’ photo contest from Living the Country Life is the proud owner of a new Exmark Lazer Z X-Series zero-turn mower.

With roughly two acres of lawn to care for in Franklin, NC, Kelly Duff spends hours each week maintaining her yard. As the recent winner of the ‘Beautiful Places’ photo contest from Living the Country Life, she is the proud owner of a new Exmark Lazer Z X-Series zero-turn mower.

Duff says the new mower, capable of mowing more than six acres an hour, will significantly reduce the time required to maintain her property.

“I’m ecstatic about winning this new Exmark, as it will not only reduce the time it takes to mow, it’ll be a lot of fun to use. I’ll probably end up cutting my neighbors’ yards as well since it’ll be so quick and easy to do.”

Duff is also planning to have Exmark dealer Reeves Hardware of Clayton, GA, train one of her neighbors on safe mower operation.

“I think it’s important that more than one of us goes through the orientation. With a mower this powerful, understanding how to use it safely is extremely important.”

The Lazer Z X-Series mower is the top model in the Exmark zero-turn mower line. It features a 60-inch cutting deck and a powerful twin-cylinder Kawasaki engine.

According to Exmark’s Daryn Walters, in addition to its productivity and cut quality, the Lazer Z X-Series features the company’s latest patented technologies to give Duff a higher level of comfort while operating the machine.

“Kelly’s new Lazer Z X-Series features Exmark’s exclusive Comfort Seat, which features numerous patented technologies to isolate the operator from vibration and impacts. Our research has shown us that increased operator comfort has a positive effect on productivity, so we place a high priority on making Exmark mowers and equipment as comfortable as possible to use.”

The ‘Beautiful Places’ photo contest is an annual online contest hosted by Living the Country Life. Duff’s photo was selected from 128 entries submitted via the publication’s Facebook page. In the end, it was Duff’s image of her property looking north from her house that collected enough online votes to earn the win over five other finalists. The six finalists were selected in voting among Living the Country Life staff.

Details of the 2014 ‘Beautiful Places’ contest will be released in the Spring 2014 issue of Living the Country Life, as well as on the publication’s Facebook page.
