Beginning in December 2013, the Engines and Power Products Division of Kawasaki Motors Corp. U.S.A. will be making short block engine assemblies available for its popular FS and FX engine series units. This will allow lawn maintenance professionals to more easily extend the operational life of their mowers.
The new short block engine assemblies carrying a MSRP ranging from $930 to $1,342 will be available at authorized Kawasaki Engine Dealers throughout the country.
According to Kawasaki, gasket kits are included with the sale of every short block assembly, and assemblies are shipped with an attached oil filter.
“This represents a huge step forward for professionals that depend on their Kawasaki-powered equipment,” said Rodger Howe, executive director. “Pros count on their mowers for continued in-field performance, and we’re providing genuine Kawasaki quality and reliability while reducing the time required for an engine rebuild.”
