E15 Now Available in a Dozen States

United Cooperative introducing E15 to 10 of its Cenex convenience stores throughout Wisconsin, bringing the national total to 75 stations in 12 states that are offering E15.

Beaver Dam, WI-based United Cooperative is offering E15 (15% ethanol, 85% gasoline) at 10 of its Cenex gas stations throughout Wisconsin. According to the Renewable Fuels Association, this brings the total to 75 stations in 12 states are offering E15. Those states are:

  1. Wisconsin
  2. Minnesota
  3. Illinois
  4. Kansas
  5. Nebraska
  6. South Dakota
  7. North Dakota
  8. Iowa
  9. Michigan
  10. North Carolina
  11. Ohio
  12. Arkansas

OPEI has relentlessly warned against the potential dangers that E15 poses to small engine-powered equipment. A consumer education campaign was rolled out this past fall.

United Cooperative’s convenience stores also offer mid-level blends including E30 and E85, which are available for use in flex-fuel vehicles.
