Brickman/ValleyCrest (BrightView) to be exclusive landscaping provider for Associa’s 4 million residents across the country.

Associa press release

UPDATE MARCH 16, 2015 :  Jennifer Shannon, president of Associa Advantage Inc., answered some questions regarding the recent partnership between Associa and BrightView.

Q:  Had Associa been working with Brickman and/or ValleyCrest prior to this new deal?

Yes. Brickman and Valley Crest were both Associa Advantage partners. Prior to this exclusive partnership, they had separate agreements with us.

Q: What were the key factors leading you to conclude that an exclusive deal with BrightView made sense for Associa and its clients? Was price a determining factor?

We want to present the highest-quality vendors to our homeowners. By entering into this exclusive partnership, we hope to provide a continuity of care to our communities.

Q: Did you look at any other possible landscaping service providers?

Yes. In the past we have had other landscape providers in the Associa Advantage program.

Q: How long will this new deal last? A year?

We have a good history of working with both companies and we hope to continue to do so.

Q: Geographically, how far does this deal reach, how many states/markets, etc.?

This is a national deal. It encompasses the entire country.
