Online Parts Supplier Builds ‘Responsive’ Website

ProParts Direct develops mobile-friendly website, beefs up content offering to improve shopping experience for contractors.

April 1 might be designated as April Fools’ Day, but the folks at ProParts Direct sure aren’t a bunch of fools—and their new website ain’t no joke.

The New Hampshire-based online parts retailer is rolling out its completely redesigned and upgraded website, ProPartsDirect.net, just in time for spring. The site features “responsive design”, which allows it to adapt to whichever type/size device a person is using to view the site, be it a computer, smartphone or tablet. This is exactly how greenindustrypros.com is designed, to give you another example.

ProPartsDirect.net also features upgraded navigation, product reviews, parts diagrams, how-to videos, and a more robust catalog of parts. “The new website is designed to provide our customers the best shopping experience available,” says Edward Proulx, marketing coordinator and e-commerce director.

Additionally, commercial accounts now have the ability log in and receive discounted pricing. For the month of April, ProParts Direct is offering free shipping on orders over $45 dollars. “Although some exclusions apply, we are excited to extend an invite to try our new site,” Proulx adds.
