Woman-Owned Tree Care Company Joins Elite Group

Northeast Horticultural Services one of just 10 Connecticut companies to hold 3-year Residential/Commercial Accreditation from TCIA.

Confirming its commitment to quality and professionalism, Northeast Horticultural Services has earned the Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA) 3-year Residential/Commercial Accreditation. Joining a select group of providers, Northeast Horticultural says it is now one of just 10 companies in the state of Connecticut to hold this accreditation.

“The TCIA accreditation validates everything that our company stands for when it comes to offering the best tree care practices to our community,” explained Stacey Marcell, owner of Northeast Horticultural Services. “I am so proud of our team and that this accreditation recognizes everyone’s hard work and commitment to excellence.” Known as the gold standard in the tree care industry, a TCIA accreditation offers assurances for the standard of care and quality of work that home and commercial property owners can expect from Northeast Horticultural Services.

TCIA-accredited companies are required to meet stringent criteria for professionalism, employee training, state and federal safety regulations, business ethics and consumer satisfaction. All TCIA-accredited companies have undergone a comprehensive on-site audit of professional and business practices, aimed at safeguarding consumers. While the accreditation is valid for three years, every company is required to undergo an annual renewal to verify that the company continues to employ trained professionals, is still properly insured, and has a good safety and consumer satisfaction rating.

Northeast Horticultural Services provides residential, commercial and municipal property owners throughout the Fairfield and New Haven County areas of Connecticut with holistic and organic landscaping and tree care services. Northeast Horticultural Services is a member of the Connecticut Tree Protective Association (CTPA) and Tree Care Industry of America (TCIA). In addition, they are accredited with the Northeast Organic Farming Association (NOFA) as Organic Land Care operators.
