Little Bully Dozer Blades

Grasshopper’s multi-purpose dozer blades allow you to move dirt, sand, gravel and snow—and dislodge stubborn ice from sidewalks, drives and parking lots—with your Grasshopper zero-turn riding mower.

“Although there really isn’t a dimension size we want to limit it to, we are not suggesting you can clear a superstore or mall parking lot easier with a Grasshopper than with trucks or large equipment,” says Mike Simmon, product specialist with The Grasshopper Company. “However, reasonably sized parking lots—like schools, churches, small businesses, parks, etc.—make sense. So do lots with substantial obstacles, such as medians and planters, where maneuverability is key. Grasshoppers and dozer blades can be more efficient and effective than plow trucks. The blade-width options allow for tighter maneuvering than the wider blades required for trucks.”

Key features of Grasshopper’s Little Bully Dozer Blades include:

  • 48- and 60-inch widths are adjustable to allow operation straight ahead or 25° left or right
  • Can be raised or lowered with hand or foot controls; options include hydraulic lift and angling for precision feathering
  • Easy-to-use control lever permits preset height adjustment, while the quick-response foot control allows intermittent height adjustment
  • The 60-inch PowerBlade uses a self-contained hydraulic system for lift and infinite left-to-right angling
  • Pro model has hydraulic angling combined with quick-response foot control height adjustment
  • A 60-inch V-plow is also available for sidewalks and other open in areas
