The 2010 Tundra is available with a 4.6-liter V8 engine producing 310 hp and 327 pounds-per-foot of torque, an increase of 34 hp and 14 pounds-per-foot of torque over the previous 4.7-liter V8.

• Engine block constructed of aluminum alloy for a roughly 100 pounds weight savings
• Uses dual independent VVT-i (variable valve timing with intelligence) on intake and exhaust camshafts
• Available 5.7L i-Force V8 offers 381 hp and 401 pounds-per-foot of torque and is mated to an electronically controlled six-speed automatic transmission
