RTX150 Trencher

The Vermeer RTX150 is part of the Vermeer line of pedestrian trenchers designed specifically for rental outlets and utility contractors to assist in the installation of irrigation lines, drainage tiles, and gas and electric lines. This machine offers 68% more torque than lower-powered models for increased digging performance, according to Vermeer.

  • Powered by a 20-hp (14.9 kW) Kohler gas engine
  • Unit is 35 inches wide
  • Maximum digging depth of 36 inches
  • Vermeer VZ steering system allows the operator to steer the machine by applying light pressure to the handlebars
  • Interchangeable tires or tracks allows user to adapt to the jobsite conditions
  • The tandem effort of a heavy-duty hydraulic oil cooler and large reservoir help manage system temperature to benefit performance and reliability
  • Hydraulic components, including pumps and motors, are designed and configured to maximize power to the digging chain
