With the Fisher XLS, you can expand and reconfigure the blade into a number of effective plowing positions without leaving your truck. With this ability to expand from 8 to 10 feet wide, and then angle the wings to a 9-foot scoop or into the ultimate windrowing configuration, you can be up to 30% more efficient, according to the company.
Scoop. The XLS will fully angle while in the scoop position to maximize plow handling and capacity. It’s ideal for carrying large quantities of snow or plowing around corners, congested parking lots, street curbs and sidewalks.
Windrow. The XLS also excels in windrowing, the company says. Since the leading wing can angle forward, it corrals more snow into the moldboard, virtually eliminating spill-off and effectively utilizing the entire blade width.
Like all Fisher commercial plows, the XLS features a Trip-Edge design which maintains the load when an obstacle is encountered. Additionally, Fisher’s easy-to-use Minute Mount 2 attachment system is also standard.
