Engage Agro USA Launching Bio-Fungicide Product From Engage Agro USA: Engage Agro USA has reached a long-term agreement with Marrone Bio Innovations to be the exclusive marketer of Regalia PTO (Professional Turf & Ornamental), an extremely effective bio-fungicide, according to the company.

"We are very excited to be launching Regalia PTO this spring … (it) fits well with our strategy to bring new proprietary solutions to the marketplace," said Trevor Thorley, president of Engage Agro USA.

How it works

Regalia PTO is an advanced bio-fungicide that triggers a plant's natural defenses to inhibit a broad spectrum of damaging fungal and bacterial diseases including dollar spot on turf, and powdery and downy mildew on ornamentals.

Regalia PTO can be used alone or in combination with most commercially available fungicides, and is proven to make protection programs better by enhancing plant growth and improving turf and ornamental quality, according to Engage Agro USA.

Featuring multi-site activity with a new mode of action, Regalia PTO offers professionals a tool to manage disease, and to delay the development of resistance to other fungicides.

In 2012, the Fungicide Resistance Action Committee (FRAC) created a new code, designed as P5, for Regalia PTO's active ingredient, reynoutria sachalinensis, which features a unique induced systemic resistance (ISR) mode of action.
