Dixie Chopper

2013 Classic Zero-Turn Riding Mower

Dixie Chopper says its Classic zero-turn riding mower is back by popular demand, though little has changed since it was first introduced in 1990. That's just fine, the company says, because a true classic never goes out of style. Offered in five models, Dixie Chopper says the Classic features a strong frame and fits the needs of the most demanding commercial cutters.

  • 27- or 33-hp Generac engine, or 29-hp Kohler EFI engine
  • 50-, 60-, 72-inch cutting widths
  • 7-gauge formed and welded Elite X Deck with X-Blade Technology; add a Twist Blade when mulching is desired
  • Oversized hydraulics for increased torque and decreased system pressure
  • Turf Boss tires designed to maximize flotation and traction while eliminating turf damage
  • Springer forks and suspension seat on HP models
  • OCDC (Operator Controlled Discharge Chute)
  • Reportedly cuts up to 6.5 acres per hour
  • Five-year bumper-to-bumper warranty (up to 600 hours, see dealer for details)
