The DriBladz commercial lawnmower attachment is now available for sale and license to U.S. and worldwide commercial lawn maintenance companies, manufacturers and dealers. This patented lawnmower squeegee attachment is designed to allow easy mowing and maintenance of wet, soggy grass.
The device, an attachment that works much like a squeegee when engaged, has a rubber flap that knocks water off of grass blades. The space between the rubber flap and the mowing deck gives grass a chance to pop back up allowing the user to cut standing, drier grass.
For commercial landscaping companies, wet grass can result in lost time and productivity. DriBladz was created by New England landscape expert, John Fichera, to overcome industrial problems associated with mowing wet, soggy grass.
“With DriBladz, gone are the days of spending up to 30 minutes per hour cleaning out a clogged deck and wasting money on this time-sucking process,” says Fichera. “No clogged decks mean more working hours, which leads to more money.”
The DriBladz attachment currently comes in three models:
- Walker (retails $299-$349)
- Residential ($69-79)
- Commercial walk-behind ($220-240)
The attachment fits 99% of all commercial and residential mowers, the company assures.
