DeWalt 40V MAX Blower
DeWalt says its battery-powered Outdoor Power Tools provide the convenience of cordless without sacrificing the performance of gas. The company also reports that while mechanical carbon brush motors generate friction and heat buildup resulting in lost energy and less runtime, its Extreme Runtime (XR) brushless motors run cooler and more efficiently, enabling longer runtime between charges.
The 40V Max Brushless Blower comes with either a 4.0Ah Lithium Ion battery or the 6.0Ah Lithium Ion battery for 50% more battery capacity. Other key features include:
- Up to 400 cfm of air volume and 120 mph of speed
- Variable-speed trigger provides better control
- Speed lock allows user to operate the tool without having to hold the trigger during use
- Curved tube design creates rotational control which helps reduce arm fatigue
- Ergonomically optimized handle size and position featuring over-mold for more comfortable operation
