Worx says its 56V MaxLithium Trimmer not only performs like a gas trimmer, but is up to 20% lighter than most gas models. This trimmer is part of the Worx 56V Power Share program, which also includes two lawnmowers, a hedgetrimmer and blower. Each tool shares the 56V MaxLithium battery pack, which requires an estimated 90 minutes to fully recharge.
Key features of the trimmer include:
- Command Feed advances trimmer line instantly with no bumping needed; just press/release button above throttle trigger
- .080-inch-diameter "professional" line for added durability
- Pre-wound, easy-to-load spool in 20-foot length
- Pivoting head allows shaft to pivot from 0 to 90°

- Adjustable, D-shaped handle designed for enhanced comfort and control
The Worx 56V trimmer (WG191, $199.99) includes one 56V MaxLithium battery pack, 90-minute charger, edging support wheels, plus two spools of line. The trimmer is covered by the Worx 3-year warranty. It’s expected to be available in March 2015.
