TruckCraft says its aluminum Zeus dump bodies for one-ton chassis cabs save about 500 pounds over steel dumps, but offer the same hoist ratings to get jobs done quickly using less fuel.
Four models are offered. Key specs include:
- 3- to 4-yard capacity
- 50° dump angle
- Double-acting hoist
- Hoist ratings: 10,400 to 21,400 pounds
- Up to 3/16-inch floor thickness
- Cross sills every 5 inches
- Side Height: 16.5 inches, (permanent or drop 180°)
- Tailgate Height: 22.5 inches (drop 180°)
- Weight (assembled with hoist, 1/2 cab guard and drop sides): 1,240 to 1,850 pounds
Zeus ships completely assembled with the subframe painted, and comes with all stainless steel hardware.
