The SnowEx SP-2400 replaceable tailgate spreader makes the most of available fleets by providing a cost-effective solution for year-round dump truck utilization. It was one of the first polyethylene-constructed replaceable tailgate spreaders on the market. The SP-2400 works with a vehicle's 12-volt DC electrical system, meaning no hydraulic PTO required. Furthermore, an In-cab dual controller allows the operator to regulate auger and spinner speed.

The point is that, for different times of year and different mowing conditions, it’s important to have flexibility.”
