Rain Bird says its XFCV Dripline with integrated check valve makes it possible to efficiently use drip irrigation on slopes.

According to Rain Bird, competing check valves can typically withstand only 4.5 feet of holdback pressure. But Rain Bird’s check valve is able to keep XFCV Dripline fully charged with water—even under elevation changes of up to 8 feet.

In addition to preventing water from seeping out of the dripline at the zone’s lowest point, the integrated check valve eliminates the need to recharge the line with water at the beginning of each watering cycle.

XFCV Dripline is available in a variety of emitter flow rates, emitter spacing and coil lengths to provide design flexibility both sloped and level terrain.
