MD Series straight plows use the standard HT300 power unit that offers easier service along with more reliable and faster performance. The plow design incorporates the same aggressive curvature, 70° attack angle and easy-to-use operation as the SnowDogg HD/EX series of plows for large trucks, while maintaining the lower weight needed for mounting on light-duty vehicles.
According to the manufacturer, the lighter-weight MD Series of SnowDogg plows are well-suited to homeowners, small-business owners and light commercial use. Buyers Products says it manufactures its products with high-quality materials. The MD Series and other SnowDogg plows incorporate design features that make them easy to maintain and give customers the longest possible product life, the company assures.
The MD Series plows come standard with 3/8-inch cutting edge, brushed stainless steel moldboard, cast iron plow shoes and polymer deflectors. Available in widths of 80, 90 and 96 inches, the plows are designed with laser-cut steel ribs that spread the load across components instead of connection points for extended plow life.
