Oregon says its PS250 Pole Saw features Oregon's 40-volt lithium-ion battery technology for longer run times and powerful, fast cutting. Oregon’s premium battery technology utilizes lithium-ion cylindrical cells, specially designed for high-power applications, providing higher power density with lighter weight. This translates into longer run times and constant no-fade power.
Available in three capacities, including the 4.0 Ah (ampere hours) maximum capacity pack, Oregon’s battery platform is compatible with all Oregon Cordless Tools, making it easy to switch tools between tasks. Fully charged battery voltage measured without a workload is 40 volts. Nominal voltage is 36 or 37 depending on battery used.
