Bryan Equipment Sales, Inc., one of the largest regional distributors of STIHL products in the U.S., recently celebrated a significant milestone with the shipment of their 10 millionth STIHL product. Founded in 1948 and selling STIHL products since 1967, the 10-million milestone is one in a series of growth milestones for the company in its 73-year history.
Like STIHL, Bryan Equipment Sales is a family-owned business with multi-generational leadership. Founded by Frederick “Bud” Bryan Jr. in the basement of his home in Deer Park, OH., and currently lead by Rick Bryan IV, the company has experienced unprecedented growth and expansion over the years.
Over the last thirty years, Bryan Equipment Sales has expanded three times – averaging an expansion a decade. Most recently, it moved to a new facility, nearly doubling its previous footprint.
“It’s all about the people,” says Bryan Equipment president Rick Bryan. He attributed the distributor’s success to his team. “Our people, our customers, their customers, and the factory personnel. None of our successes would be possible if it were not for all of these fantastic individuals.”
The Bryan Equipment Sales territory spans six states: Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, middle and western Tennessee and West Virginia.
