Worx says its 56V MaxLithium Blower, expected to be available in August 2015, is lightweight, powerful and efficient with a turbo boost option. It is part of a growing family of 56V tools in the new Worx Power Share program, which also includes two lawnmowers, a grass trimmer and a hedgetrimmer.
Key features of the 56V MaxLithium Blower include:
- Designed so that as much air as possible can freely move across its axial fan to deliver a maximum air velocity of 480 cfm
- Multi-speed control provides a "light breeze" option when working in sensitive areas, or the wide-open "turbo boost" feature to blast debris out of the way
- Turbo mode is useful for removing wet leaves that are stuck to the driveway or moving them across the lawn
- Air speed is in excess of 100 mph
- Large-diameter nozzle for greater air flow
- 2.0 amp-hour MaxLithium battery recharges in approximately 90 minutes
- Constructed of high-impact nylon composite
- Ergonomically designed for single-handed operation
- Soft-grip comfort handle to help reduce fatigue, especially during extended-use periods
