Takeuchi Announces Dealer Awards

Takeuchi-US, recently announced multiple dealer-related awards for successful sale efforts in 2019.

Bill Smith of Cobb Country Tractor was presented with Takeuchi Salesman of the Year. This is the third time Smith has taken top honors for Takeuchi after ranking number one again in retail sales for North America.

Located in Marietta, Georgia, Cobb County Tractor is a full line dealer for Takeuchi. They serve the construction and landscaping industries, as well as offer parts and service. Takeuchi’s southeast region business manager Steve DePriest was on hand in Marietta to present Smith with the much-deserved award.

“Hands down, Bill Smith knows the meaning of a true sales professional. We could not be more pleased of the way he represents our brand,” said DePriest. “He very much deserves to be recognized for his sales efforts, always going above and beyond the customers’ expectations as well as Cobb County Tractor’s expectations. Bill works extremely hard and logs long hours each and every day. Something else that sets Bill apart is how great he listens to customers, always understanding their needs. We are proud to once again present this award to him for his outstanding performance in 2019.”

In addition, Feenaughty Machinery Company was honored as the Dealer of the Year for its successful sales efforts in 2019. Takeuchi’s regional business manager Hampton Wideman presented the much-deserved accolade at this year’s CONEXPO-CON/AGG Show.

Feenaughty Machinery ranked number one in total sales for Takeuchi products in 2019. The full-service construction dealer has locations in Portland and Eugene, Oregon.

“We are honored and thrilled to award Feenaughty Machinery Company as Dealer of the Year, they are much deserving of this recognition,” said Wideman. “They are a top-performing dealer who has really done a great job with the Takeuchi brand throughout its territory. They always treat the customer as its number one priority, which is why they are so successful.”

Tri-West Tractor, a family-owned business in Livermore, California was recognized with the 2019 West Region Dealer of the Year after considering their commitment and excellence in a number of areas including sales performance, parts support, product support and training.

“We are so excited to be giving this award to Tri-West Tractor, they have been a good dealer for us, and we know they work hard to support Takeuchi customers,” said Wideman. “Tri-West Tractor is a top-performing dealer who has really done a great job with the Takeuchi products, and we look forward to working with them for years to come.”

Star Equipment earned the recognition as the 2019 Dealer of the Year for the Central Midwest Region. Their successful sales efforts in 2019 has proven to show they are outstanding in the construction equipment market.

The award was presented by Takeuchi Central Midwest Region Business Manager Shay Klusmeyer, who stated that Star was recognized for its commitment and excellence in a number of areas including sales performance, parts support, product support and training. The full-service dealer has four locations in Iowa; Ames, Cedar Rapids, Des Moines and Waterloo.

“We are honored to award Star Equipment as the Central Midwest Dealer of the Year, they are very much deserving of this recognition,” said Klusmeyer. “They have been one of our top-performing dealers for a long time and done a great job with taking care of Takeuchi customers. They always treat the customer as their number one priority and that is why they are so successful.”      

Bruce Bowman, president for Star Equipment noted that they work hard to take care of their customers and were excited to be named as Takeuchi’s Central Midwest Dealer of the Year.
