Precision Outdoor Power

Precision Outdoor Power and Sharpening Inc. was established in 1994 by Rob and Melva Post. They purchased a small business from Cliff Fry, "Riverton Sharpening."  At the time it was mainly a sharpening service and saw shop located at 216 West Washington; sales included one brand of saw - Jonsered. 

In 1995 Mat Post came to work with them. They added Snapper lawn mowers and Shindaiwa hand held grass trimmers. By putting pride and excellent customer service at the top of their list - business flourished. In 1997 the location started getting too small and something larger was needed. In 1998, the current location was purchased at 614 West Main.  With the new location and lots more space, a few more lines were added they started mowing yards in the evenings.  After a few years, they started adding employees and has been on a continual up swing since. In 2011 Mat Post purchased the business and Rob and Melva retired. 

For the summer months, we now offer six major brands of lawn equipment, Walker, Hustler, Grasshopper, Snapper, Shindaiwa, Jonsered and have a full service shop for all your repair needs. For those of you who love flavor in your food we also sell Louisiana pellet BBQ grills and flavored pellets. We have Rain/Bird, Toro, Weathermatic, and Hunter under ground sprinkler system parts and numerous landscaping products for sale over the counter, or have us install a new system for you or repair/update your old one.  Also, do not forget or team of trained professionals to keep your lawn and grounds  maintenance looking beautiful.  In the winter months, we offer Meyer snow plows and accessories, snow removal services, Breckwell pellet stoves and White Flame wood pellets.
