Nick Hamon, vice president of product development and sustainable development at Environmental Science, a business of Bayer CropScience, recently was honored by the North Carolina State University (NCSU) College of Agriculture and Life Science (CALS). Hamon was awarded the CALS Volunteer of the Year Award, and was invited to join the prestigious NCSU CALS chapter of Gamma Sigma Delta, the honor society for agriculture, as an honorary member.
“This Gamma Sigma Delta award is presented to a small number of select alumni and friends of the College who are outstanding agricultural leaders, rendering outstanding service to the cause of agricultural development, said Johnny Wynne, NCSU CALS Dean. “Through Nick’s service to N.C. State and to the agricultural community at large, he is deeply deserving of this recognition."
