Landscaper Faces Attempted Murder Charges for Crash That Injured Landscaping Crew

Ohio man faces 13 felony charges after a crash in October injured a landscaping crew.

A Maumee, Ohio man has been indicted on three counts of attempted murder and 10 additional counts related to an October crash in Perrysburg Township.

In all, Christopher Bigelow, 56, faces 13 charges, including three counts of attempted murder, a first-degree felony; five counts of felonious assault, a second-degree felony; and five counts of vehicular assault, a fourth-degree felony.

The charges relate to a crash reported October 16 in the 28000 block of East River Road in Perrysburg Township.

According to the Bowling Green Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Bigelow, who was identified at that time as a landscaping worker, was operating a 2007 Ford F-450 eastbound when he drove the truck off the north side of the road, running into Paul Haase Jr., Holland, who was taking a break from a landscaping project.
