Four “basic” and four “advanced” technician classes being offered on Dealer Day, October 21.

The Equipment & Engine Training Council (EETC) is offering Dealer Day Technician Training on Wednesday, October 21 at GIE+EXPO in Louisville. Dealers can sign up for classes when registering for the show at the GIE+EXPO website.

Basic Tech Classes (class sizes limited)

  • 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. – choose one at $30 each
  • 10 a.m. to noon – choose one at $30 each
  • 1 to 3 p.m. – choose one at $30 each

Basic 1 – Purge Primer Carburetors Operation & Troubleshooting (Presented by Stihl Inc.)

Basic 2 – Oregon Forestry Cutting System Maintenance (presented by Blount International)

Basic 3 – Pre-Delivery Inspection and Quality-of-Cut Problem Solving Techniques (presented by Husqvarna)

Basic 4 – Fuel Service Training (presented by B3C Fuel Solutions)

Advanced Tech Classes (class sizes limited)

  • 8 a.m. to noon – choose one at $45 each
  • Noon to 3 p.m. – choose one at $45 each

Advanced 1 – Troubleshooting & Diagnostics of Electrical Systems (presented by Almon Inc.)

Advanced 2 – Fuel Injection Systems (presented by Briggs & Stratton)

Advanced 3 – Hydrostatic Drivetrain Systems (presented by Hydro-Gear)

Advanced 4 – Compact Diesel Engine (presented by Kohler Engines)
