Three Promotions at Ruppert Landscape

Jeff MullenJeff MullenRuppert LandscapeRuppert Landscape is pleased to announce the promotion of Jeff Mullen to Vice President of Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and Strategic Finance; Nathan Fadrowski to Branch Manager in the company’s Delmarva, Delaware landscape maintenance branch; and Crisler Vaughn to Branch Manager of the company’s landscape maintenance branch in Johns Island, South Carolina.

Jeff MullenJeff MullenRuppert LandscapeIn his new role, Mullen will continue to oversee the sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, and execution of strategic acquisitions while also leading financial initiatives that support Ruppert’s continued expansion. He joined the company in 2023. 

In his role, Fadrowski will be responsible for overseeing operations, building client relationships, and supporting the growth of Ruppert Landscape’s maintenance presence in Delaware. Ruppert’s Delmarva branch provides a full range of commercial landscaping services, including landscape maintenance, design and enhancements, turf care, irrigation management, pond and lake management, snow removal, arbor care, and outdoor lighting and décor.

Crisler VaughnCrisler Vaughn Ruppert LandscapeAs Branch Manager, Vaughn will oversee operations, cultivate client relationships, and help drive Ruppert’s maintenance presence in the region. The Johns Island branch provides a full suite of commercial landscaping services, including maintenance, design and enhancements, turf care, irrigation management, pond and lake management, arbor care, and outdoor lighting and décor.

LawnPRO Acquires Sea of Green Lawn Care

LawnPRO Partners has acquired Massachusetts-based Sea of Green Lawn Care, LLC. Sea of Green has served the North Shore of Massachusetts and New Hampshire for over 30 years and operated as a family business providing quality lawn care services. Sea of Green offers lawn treatments (fertilization, aeration, and seeding) and pest control (tick, mosquito, and perimeter pest). Sea of Green has a lawn care program that is all-encompassing and is designed to provide complete care for things like weed control, turf growth, pH levels and overall health of turf and soil.

Landscape Workshop Brings Josh Altman and Alan Warfield to the Team

In his role, Altman will lead the company’s systems and analytics teams, drive key strategic initiatives, and partner with the CEO and senior leadership to advance Landscape Workshop’s Value Creation Plan. He will also oversee business transparency and performance management, ensuring the company continues to scale effectively and deliver long-term value for stakeholders.

Altman joins Landscape Workshop after nearly a decade at Bain & Company, where he rose to Associate Partner and advised private equity-backed and publicly traded companies on growth strategies, value creation planning, M&A integration, and large-scale transformations. Earlier in his career, Altman worked in investment banking, where he advised on more than 25 M&A and financing transactions across industrials and healthcare.

Alan WarfieldAlan WarfieldLandscape WorkshopIn this executive leadership role, Warfield will be responsible for legal strategy, real estate, government relations, insurance, and risk management, reporting directly to the CEO. His arrival comes at a time when the company continues to scale across multiple markets through organic growth and acquisitions.

Warfield brings with him a deep legal background with more than two decades of experience. Prior to joining Landscape Workshop, he served as Senior Vice President, Associate General Counsel at Flagstar Bank, and held key legal leadership roles at Truist Bank. He also previously served as Office Head of the Birmingham office of Jones Walker LLP.

Rain Bird Acquires Rachio Inc.

Rain Bird Corporation acquired Rachio Inc., an innovator and leader in connected irrigation technology for homeowners. The acquisition represents a significant step forward in Rain Bird's mission to deliver sustainable irrigation solutions and expand the impact of its technologies and services.

Rachio will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Rain Bird and will continue to be led by Chris Klein, CEO and co-founder. Over the past 10 years, Rachio has built a strong following for its flagship cloud-connected smart irrigation controllers. The company has more recently introduced an award-winning smart hose-end timer and announced the addition of a new smart lighting control product. These innovative products complement Rain Bird's established expertise in irrigation and water management solutions, creating new opportunities to enhance offerings for customers and communities worldwide.
