Despite issues, the landscape industry is ‘open for business’ as many homeowners rethink and prioritize their outdoor space.
Heading into 2021, landscapers were optimistic. The industry worked hard in 2020 to become labeled essential and things were starting to look promising. Approaching the second half of 2021, it seemed like the economy and daily life would start to fall back into place. But then the landscaping industry was hit by COVID-19 variants, the Great Resignation and deeper supply chain issues — creating havoc throughout the end of 2021.
