Virginia Dealer Wins $5,000 Prize from Stihl

Mary Alice Gibson of Roanoke, VA, is the big winner on first-ever Dealer Day.

Stihl hosted an Oktoberfest-themed party in its booth on Dealer Day at GIE+EXPO. In addition to providing a German-style polka band, brats and beer, the handheld equipment maker gave away a $5,000 cash prize to one lucky dealer in attendance.

That lucky dealer was Mary Alice Gibson of Roanoke, VA. When asked what she planned to do with her winnings, Gibson said she'd put it toward her grandchildren's education.
