Bobcat Headquarters Receives LEED Gold Certification

Doosan Bobcat North America was awarded LEED Gold certification for the remodel and expansion of its corporate headquarters building located at 250 East Beaton Drive in West Fargo, North Dakota. Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification is the most widely used green building rating system in the world and an international symbol of excellence.

"As a leader in the industry with high standards for quality and innovation, we are extremely proud to receive LEED Gold certification and have our headquarters reflect those values,” said Mike Ballweber, president of Doosan Bobcat North America. “Our goal is to provide a space that operates sustainably and supports our employees with a healthy and inspiring workplace.”

Achieving the gold certification, the second highest rating available, makes the Doosan Bobcat facility one of 12 structures in the state of North Dakota to achieve LEED Gold and the second Doosan Bobcat building in the state to earn LEED recognition.

In 2017, Doosan Bobcat completed the $9.5 million expansion and remodeling of its North America headquarters, which was originally built in 2000. The most recent project doubled the square footage of the office building to 110,000 square feet and included multiple upgrades to geothermal HVAC, green power renewable energy, walking paths and much more

“We continue to make investments in our people and facilities,” Ballweber said. “This award represents our commitment to serve as a community partner and manage our environmental footprint where our employees, dealers and customers live and work.”

Service Autopilot Announces New Email Integration Feature

Service Autopilot has announced its new Email Integration feature, which removes the gap between emails and Service Autopilot accounts by integrating Gmail and Outlook emails into the SA platform.

With the new email integration, businesses will save time by eliminating the need for double data entry. After owners begin forwarding their Gmail or Outlook emails into SA, client emails will be instantly accessible within the Service Autopilot platform and be automatically logged as a “ticket” under the client’s account.

Emails will be easily and instantly searchable using the tickets list. It’ll be easier than ever to organize client emails and speed up the sales funnel.

Service Autopilot users can sign up for the new feature by simply logging into their Service Autopilot account and add Email Integration to their membership from the integrations page.

Consumers Have More Choices with Release of Final Specs

With the release of the EPA WaterSense Specification for Soil Moisture-Based Irrigation Controllers, consumers will now have more choices than ever for WaterSense-labeled irrigation technologies available on the market.

Soil moisture-based irrigation controllers now join weather-based controllers, spray sprinkler bodies and professional certifications in the WaterSense portfolio of labeled irrigation technologies and programs. Like weather-based irrigation controllers, WaterSense-labeled soil moisture sensors can be stand-alone controllers or “add-on” or “plug-in” devices that can be used in tandem with an existing controller to help it water more efficiently.

“We thank WaterSense for their leadership in spearheading the development of this specification,” said John Farner, Irrigation Association’s industry development director. “Soil moisture sensors are an effective tool to ensure that water is being used efficiently, while promoting plant health.”
