Grammer AG showcased its new S321 seat combination system for riding mowers and other turf care equipment at the 2015 GIE+EXPO.
Grammer says that the seat shell sports a modern design and was created with a padded two-part, 18.5-inch-wide cushion. The S321 has the option of added armrests, fore/aft adjustment, and an operator presence switch (OPS) for enhanced safety. The seat shell can be installed either without a suspension or combined with the ecoomical MSG15 semi-suspension, which features a three-step weight adjustment, which Grammer says is for more added comfort. When used with the MSG15, the shell can be folded forward to service the vehicle or protect the seat's surface from weather when not in use.
The seat shell can also be combined with the MSG283 scissor-type suspension which, according to Grammer, has a reduced number of components used because it is manufactured completely without welding. The MSG283 essentially consists of a horizontal cluster of tension springs. The system features a suspension stroke of 2.75 inches, with a height adjustment up to 2.36 inches and a weight from 110 to 286 pounds. Grammer says that the weight and height adjustments are made so that users can choose their idea personal comfort preference.
