Drip irrigation isn’t new, but it’s now being used in new ways. Subsurface systems are reliably supporting some of the most iconic green spaces in the country, from the Great Lawn in Central Park, the Liberty Bell grounds, and Bella Collina (pictured) in Montverde, Florida. These projects show the long-term viability of precision drip in high-traffic, high-visibility environments. The Bella Collina installation features 16 miles of mainline pipe plus numerous more miles of secondary pipe and drip irrigation pipe.
