The filter and pump work in tandem to clear solids, then filter and clean water. The Max-Flo Waterfall & Filter Pump is designed to circulate water loaded with moderate amounts of solid particles and transport them to the Pressure Flo Filter. The filter then collects water with a pressurized vortex where durable foam filters intercept and trap dirt and debris. This dirt-free water then passes along an integrated UV-C lamp, where it is exposed to ultraviolet rays that inhibit the growth of single-celled algae organisms. The thoroughly cleansed water then returns to the pond, keeping fish healthy.
