As reported by WAVE 3 News in Louisville, KY, the month of August was much hotter and wetter than normal in many parts of the country. Lawn care professionals have really been put to the test in trying to keep up with grass growth, weed pop and property cleanup.
Rain days have been another issue, putting already tired and stressed out crews even further behind schedule. The result is longer, hotter, more tiring workdays when the sun finally comes back out.
Equipment is also taking a beating. The lush, often wet growth taxes everything from mowers to trimmers to blowers.
