In 1997, Jim Thompson began researching a new, non-chemical way to protect trees against climbing and crawling insects. His goal was to develop a product that would be easy to use, very effective, attractive on the property, economical and environmentally friendly.Research and development efforts increased in 2001 after Jim teamed up with Denis Crane to form Envirometrics Systems Inc.
