Toro announced several new product innovations at a GIE+EXPO 2015 press conference on October 22.

The MyRide Suspension System is available on six models of Z Master commercial zero-turn mowers. MyRide is highlighted by personalized comfort settings and easily adjustable rear shock assemblies. A variety of engine options and deck sizes are offered on mowers featuring MyRide.

Six years ago Toro announced that it was breaking into the stand-on mower market with its GrandStand mower. This year, the company has unveiled the new GrandStand Multi Force for added productivity, reduced maintenance and easier serviceability.

According to Toro, the new GrandStand Multi Force features a 25% faster ground speed, but also features a fleet speed limiter device. Additionally, greasing points have been significantly reduced and operators are allowed access to both sides of the engine and inside tower. Other key features include:

  • Open deck drive
  • 52- or 60-inch deck
  • Simplified design (transmission, frame, controls)
  • Moveable front casters
  • Upgraded hydraulics
  • Increased engine power

The new GrandStand Multi Force mowers also have multi-attachment capability, rendering this stand-on mower a machine for all seasons (see photo with sweeper broom attachment). Two models will be available in the spring of 2016. Customers can choose either a 52- or a 60-inch Turbo Force deck with a 60-inch Boss snowplow. Additional options and attachments are planned for the future.

Toro also unveiled a new Snow Master two-stage snowthrower at GIE+EXPO, along with the newest addition to the SmartStow Recycler walk mower lineup, a new rear wheel-drive model.
