Ford is releasing a new Snowplow Kit in late September that will enable 2011 to 2013 Ford F-150s with the 6.2L V8 to have a snowplow for personal-use applications. The kit will be available through Ford dealers. Cost is not yet available.
Also new for 2013, the 6.2L V8 will be available for the XLT model (pictured). It’s been previously limited to Lariat and up.
The 2012 F-150 is one such existing model that lends itself to the new snowplow kit.
According to Ford, the 2012 F-150 was designed to deliver even more of what consumers are looking for these days. Features include Hill Start Assist, stylized body-side graphic and black badges with red lettering, and a customized interior that includes black leather seating surfaces with red trim, brushed-metal accents and a red-stitched steering wheel.
