Fisher Engineering, manufacturer of snow removal and ice control equipment, is encouraging its business partners to “Wear Blue” in support of national Men’s Health Awareness Month, held throughout June.

To show its support for men’s health and education, Fisher Engineering will offer limited-edition “Stay Strong” blue lift arm kits through its snowplow dealer locations. For each kit sold, Fisher Engineering will donate $50 to the Maine Coalition to Fight Prostate Cancer. Customers will also have the option to present the donation in honor of a loved one affected by the disease, the company added.

“Nearly one in seven men will experience a prostate cancer diagnoses in their lifetime,” said John Murphy, vice president of sales. “By offering blue lift kits, we can all ‘Wear Blue’ to support the efforts of MCFPC and all the other organizations who work to advocate the importance of early detection and accessible treatment all year long.”
