Winter Equipment, an established name in the commercial and municipal snow and ice management industry, recently unveiled that it is expanding into the contractor distribution and sales markets. According to the company, its contractor-targeted products consist of:

  • Plow markers made from galvanized steel aircraft cable (the same material that stops an aircraft on a carrier deck). These virtually indestructible markers provide visibility, rust protection and durability.
  • Plow systems that include sectional blades, guards and all the necessary equipment sold as a single easy-to-inventory system. The V-plow assembly is designed to provide even wear and reduce downtime, whereas the XTendor boasts a heavy-duty steel blade matched with carbide-reinforced PlowGuards for surviving rough roads and unseen obstructions.
  • WinterFlex rubber snow-plow blades, which come with styrene-butadiene flat rubber sections and a unique reversible design for long-lasting blade usage and moldboard protection. They are sold in sections or rolls, with bolt holes punched to customer specifications.
  • Grade 8 hardware—the highest class of imperial fasteners available—that’s certified to meet the requirements of American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) grading, while withstanding heavy wear and providing long life.
  • Pusher-box shoes engineered to outlast standard shoes, while providing one-man installation, and in-field replacement and adjustment. They further feature a unique design that allows for adjustment as wear occurs, resulting in a longer product life.
  • 18-inch universal spinners built to outlast standard spinners for less downtime and greater performance.
